Chamber of Deputies - Informal Hearings - Strengthening National Cyber Security
The first public appearance of the Cyber AIAD Commission was held in Rome on March 22, 2024 at the Chamber of Deputies - at the united Committees on Constitutional Affairs and Justice - where IPS CEO Ing. Fabio Romani participated as chairman, as part of the examination of the bill containing provisions on "strengthening national cybersecurity and cybercrimes."

Distinguished participants interested in the Cyber and Justice sphere - such as Ivano Gabrielli (Director of the Postal Police and Telecommunications Service), Giovanni Melillo (National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor) and Pasquale Stanzione (President of the Data Protection Authority) - contributed their views.

Several themes emerged clearly from the hearing, among them the main one being how to make Cybersecurity more central at the national strategic level.

It has been highlighted the importance of the resources needed by domestic industry to pursue investment in R&D with the goal of making our technologies and skills increasingly relevant internationally.
